Nancy L.  Gaynier, 72 of Erie, MI, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Ebeid Hospice Residence.  Born October 30, 1943, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of William and Lois (Braun) Harris. A 1961 graduate of Whitmer High School, she married Harold “JR” F. Gaynier on October 19, 1963.  He preceded her in death on June 15, 1997.  Nancy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 514, Ida.  She was an avid University of Michigan fan and enjoyed crocheting, doing home day care and hosting many of the gatherings around the pool.  Nancy was an awesome grandmother, who loved watching her grandchildren at all their sporting events, they were truly the love of her life.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Kelly (Clarence) Whalen and Kathy Ondrus; brother, Donald Harris; sister, Patricia Erickson; grandchildren, Jessica, Eric, Alex, Brock, Brent, Cheryl and Michelle; great granddaughter, Ava and a great grandson on the way; nephews, Kurt and Kyle; and special friends, Michelle Jorrey and AJ and Travis Russell.  Nancy was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Harris.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Friday, May 27, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4120 West Central Avenue, Toledo, OH.
